Northstar Neuroscience (IP purchased by St. Judes Medical)

Northstar Neuroscience developed a cortical stimulation platform for stroke rehabilitation. The physician would manually move the patient’s hand or arm while actuating a device to overstimulate the sensory center in the brain responsible for hand or arm sensory feedback. STG designed hardware, wrote software and ran QA to support the mobile device that actuated the stimulation device.
